ALPE DEVERO: inside the Lepontine Alps, it is a jewel of rare beauty at the elevation of 1650 m a.s.l. Alpe Devero is a flat area sorrounded by pretty mountains on the upper part of the Antigorio Valley - Baceno - Verbania Province. Part of the regional park of Veglia - Devero, The Alpe's beauty is protected in all its natural aspects. You can enter in contact with wilderness and the power of the nature - water , snow, flowers, wild animals. Alpe Devero is one of the most important area in the Western Alps with the peaks of Cervandone (3211 m), Punta della Rossa (2888 m) and Pizzo Crampiolo (2776 m). Inside the Alpe, the car traffic is forbidden, allowing a free circulation to pedestrian, bycicles or skiis. Excursions can be done in summes as well as in winter. You can find several ski slopes (2 skilifts and 1 chair lift up to 2250 m) for Alpine skiing, as well as Ice Cascade for experts climbers.
